The 2 Bee games Indie competition is back with it’s second worldwide contest open to all developers whether they are student or indie developers; teams or individuals.
This amazing contest has a Grand prize of $10,000 and a publishing deal to a major console. There is also a prize of $5,000 for the community favourite and all entries will have the chance of securing a publishing deal, often involving a port to one or more major consoles, even without winning!
Another great contest returns to the Events page. Rosetta Stone is holding a Winter Games contest and are looking for people who like to code, compete and most importantly, win. This contest is also open to individuals and teams who are able to create a brilliant game in 48 hours or less.
The prizes this time include the first prize a Macbook Pro with 30 inch cinema display, three levels of Rosetta Stone Software and your game published on a Rosetta Stone webpage. Second place will win a $500 cash prize and three levels of Rosetta Stone Software. The event will be held at Rosetta Stone’s location in Harrisonburg, VA from January 8th – 10th, 2010 but the submission deadline is at the end of this year so if you want to enter make sure you read the Official Rules.
Good luck to all that enter!
